Portland Evaluator – Nancy L.
Nancy has lived in Portland for over 16 years. Prior to this, she lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and–in college–Northern England. Nancy fervently enjoys traveling and has been all across Europe and Thailand. In college, while Nancy was earning a degree in sociology, she worked for catering companies helping to prep and serve food at different events. Later, she took a similar job at a music venue. Now that she is out of the hospitality business, she continues her passion for the industry by frequently dining out at upscale restaurants. She is incredible enthusiastic about food–to Nancy, eating out should be a happy, shared experience rather than an average, everyday task. In fact, Nancy often takes pictures of her food and tweets them or posts them to Facebook because for her, food and friends make memories. Currently, Nancy works as a professional writer. She is observant, incredibly detail-oriented, and has an ardent understanding of human interactions. Nancy’s favorite Portland restaurant is Andina because its space is elegant, its staff is dedicated to service, and its menu and dishes are works of art.
