The sales associate will support the VP of Sales & Marketing in all aspects of sales. While the position is home-based, the sales associate will be asked to work side by side with the VP of Sales & Marketing on projects and other tasks.
Daily tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparing presentations
- Telephone Marketing
- Email Marketing
- Organizing sales lists
- Collateral development
- Drafting proposals
- Compiling lists of prospects
- Scheduling Meetings
- Daily support to the VP of Sales & Marketing
- Helping to maintain organization of CRM database
- Prepare email campaigns/newsletters
- Assist in preparation for trips/events for VP of Sales & Marketing
- Client and prospective client correspondence
Requirements
- Prospecting skills (telephone, email, direct mail, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Fast learner
- Superior organization skills & ability to handle multiple projects
- Working knowledge of calendar and scheduling applications
- Experience with SalesForce or other CRM a plus
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office (all applications including Excel and Powerpoint)
- Experience in proposal preparation a plus.
Compensation
Base Salary commensurate with experience plus sales-based incentive . Benefits include paid vacation and company-subsidized health insurance.
